The Rattan Furniture is hand  woven, so no two pieces are identically the same, so one section can vary from the other which has no impact on its durability.

Glass tops - A Magnifying glass effect caused by Glass, objects  ( Bottles, drinking Glasses, spectacles etc) can have an effect on the rattan due to the heat from magnification which leads to the rattan melting and going over its temperature range and will go brittle and snap . We recommend shading from direct sun light. ( Parasol- Gazebo etc) 

The Rattan may sag under the glass in hot condition direct sunlight which reforms back to normal when it's cooled back down. 

The Staple fixing, screws and bolts & welds can develop a film of rust in damp conditions.

The frames of our sets are coated for optical reasons. The coating is sometimes minimally damaged in the production process. This doesn't affect the quality or durability of the frame in any way.
